I was out doing some work on a farm today and was talking with the owner and the subject of bikes came up and he said he had 3 bikes that was his kids when they was young. So before we left for the day he showed me 2 of the bikes which one of them was a slicklady 2 speed ( cant remember if it said krate or stingray) and the other was a fairlady stingray both was completely original right down to the tires the seats both have cracks and of course the tires are flat . It looks like they parked them in the out buildings one day and thats where they have set all these years. Im going to talk to the guy again tomorrow about them, If I can get them I plan on keeping them complete ( NO PARTING OUT) just not sure what to offer the guy for them.

Considering the 2 speed hub I think $50-$75 would be fair. Who knows the third bike may be a boy's apple crate or something. The time frame is right.

he wasnt sure what the boys one was or which out building it was in. he just said it was a schwinn that was a little newer then the girls bikes. hope I can get them for a price that I can fix them up right and be able to make a some off them if I decide to resale them

I know right, Its going to be hard to finish remodeling his bathroom all Ill be thinking about is the bikes

Talked to the guy about the bikes today, and its amazing how someone dont want to do anything with their old bikes until someones interested in buying them.
