After seeing a so many cool seats during Build Off 7, I searched to see if there was a gallery dedicated to the creative seats or saddles that people have put on their bikes. I couldn't find one, so here is my attempt to start one.

Please post any seats or saddles that you are proud of.


I'll start it off with the hand painted Flying Freaky Bunny Tigers one I put on my RRB Build Off #7 entry Flex-Liner 7 (The TwinFlex Spaceliner)

Heres the one I built for my build off bike soul catcher

wish I could stock pile old seats like this one to rebuild
started saving springs off new seats to be able to rebuild the old seats even further

I had an unusual seat for BO6's BEER RUN. I used an upside down skateboard with another skateboard as a sissy bar like backrest. It even had a flashing COLD BEER sign.

Here it is lit up like a Rocka Fella tree for the SBC Midnight Garden Ride.

since my main riders are all stretches/pedal forward, nearly all my seat experiments are putting something together to hold me in place when i'm pushing harder on the pedals

essentially the same idea on a couple different bikes. all oversized exercise seats. a couple have springers added from other seats, and a couple are on bikes with rear suspension so they don't neeed it

a quickie one made for a bike i gave away. turned out the pad brace hits the tire if the seat is down too low and you push back hard on the backrest

the seats for my tandem project

the back seat has the clamp for the rear handlebars

and chainsaw on freakbike suggested making it easier to get into the back seat. this is the best i could do

precision machine work

thanks! i love it too. it doesn't hurt that much when i'm using it. it's like i'm on a floating bike, really handles rough roads smoothly.

by the way, love that seat on Flexy too! no foam also.
