Dang it Bobby you beat me to the punch. I picked a full can of bronze powder last summer at a farm sale. I had the same idea of dusting it on a clear finish. You've inspired me to pull it out and use on another project i'm working on. I really like where you are taking this build.Well it doesn't translate entirely in the photos, but this is step one. It does look bronzedish, and I can see it working out as I build layers. I hit it with clear to set what is there, then I will dust it again and sand it back.

Sacrilegious, cutting up Schwinn logo'ed handlebars. How could you?Starting with these baby apes from a Schwinn exerciser.
Apparently, you just have to cut everything in half.
Its hard to compare these two, picture quality is so different.I am leaning toward orange tires with a black sidewall. However, I found a black tire, with a wide sidewall (in orange) as well.

niceIf I choose to go with the first option, they come in 26" and 20" if I want to run different sizes. The second option only comes in 20", so I would probably run a solid black rear.
Also, I have some ideas for this:

Ruff Cycles also has orange wall tires.
I really like the 'orange black walled' tires, never saw them before.
nice
Very nice tires!Putting out an APB for a 26" single (orange/black marble).
Anyone have a connect, or one for sale?
I can only find them available in pairs online.
