Ok at 9 this morning my shipping clerk/wife decided to see if my canyon would push a full size chevy truck sideways. She actually got it moved a pretty good ways. Anyway she was transported to the hospital ,and has small cuts and bruises ...air bag deployed ..back pains neck pains...hummm did that lawyer call back yet. Was the other guys fault . So I know that your asking how in the world this is bike related....I promised to ship several deals today and ,by having my shipping clerk drugged up on pain shots I was afraid to let her print the shipping labels. I wish I knew how ,but alas I dont. I will get them shipped tomorrow. I'm really sorry.

bikes dont get hurt so who cares about that stuff, hope your clerks not hurting for long .. or is at least enjoying the medication

ouch! hope miss betty is doing allright. those aches and pains might take a few days to set in! best wishes on her recovery, and getting someone to match that paint!

... and that windshield crack about eye level, most times its your hand hitting the glass when the airbag pops, id expect some bruised knuckles too.

I tried to look at where she was hurt while sitting in the hospital....scraped underside of left forearm. Big knot on the left schin...chest pains...air bag....neck pain.... whiplash while hitting a full sized truck at 40 and bouncing off the airbag. Big square red spot on her stomach...seatbelt on pants button. They told her it was going to be worse tomorrow. Need to have her print shipping labels tonight before she goes to painpill dream land. Thanks to everybody wishing her well.I appreciate it.

Wishing you and your wife the best. I hope she gets well soon. My wife's been in chronic pain for 15 years now from a much lesser accident. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. So take care of her and forget about those packages until she is well.

I've been there as well. My wife got rear ended, pushed into oncoming traffic and hit from the front. She's lucky to be alive but the pain took a while to vanish. God Bless to both of you.

Thanks Gerry. Man your wifes deal reminds me of a guy at work. He always wanted a motorcycle. He bought it and on the way home he was sitting at a light and a lady behind him was in labor and took her foot off the brake and shoved him into traffic and he was killed. So with my wife a few bumps and bruises we can deal with.

She was in a Chevy Corsica. The only good thing about that crappy piece of junk was the pointy front end that launched the Suzuki Sidekick in the air deflecting the energy. Thankfully the driver of the Suzuki didn't get a scratch even tho he landed on his roof! Sorry for your friend, I'm getting rid of my scooter because it's too expensive for a toy but being rear ended or T boned was always my big worry. Strangely I feel safer on a bicycle!

I am glad she is safe and sound. Sometimes we get so materialistic in this world and forget what is important.

Did she have a bruise across her chest where the shoulder harness got her? My brother got in a wreck and I couldn't believe the bruise he had from the strap. Made me think twice about NOT wearing a shoulder harness all the time. Hope she's doing better. Gary

I was in a head-on collision 10 years ago, resulting in a bad case of whiplash. Still can't use apehangers without hurting my neck...I seriously hope she suffers no long term effects Paul. And even though a shoulderharness can leave its marks, it still beats getting thrown into an exploding airbag imho.

Wishing her all the best !

Wow a 40mph crash, and the doors still work on the truck that says something for the safety of the new cars and truck out there. Hope the Mrs. is feelin better today? I just saw this post today, good luck man. So on the lighter side, are you gonna get another little yellow truck?

sorry to hear about this but much better that nothing worst happend the material things could be replace but a love one can't be replace, hope she get's well verry soon :!:

Thanks everybody. Yep it looks like I did a black spraypaint stripe at an angle and across her stomach. They called me and said the yellow truck will be no more. I liked that truck too. She didnt want a truck to begin with so she will get another suv. Man cars are expensive. They wont hardly talk to you now about dropping the prices. I have seven days to find something else . That is when the rental runs out. I'ts only stuff and a good shipping clerk is hard to find.
