My daughters freshly finished mighty 8th bike. She's not seen it yet as I'm handing it over at the 95th BG museum at the old airfield at Horham in Suffolk. Hope she likes it! For anyone interested, the 390th BG on the frame is Sophie's favorite group and we're based at Horham before the 95th arrived, they then moved on to Parham, their home until the end of WWII.

Very nice bike! But it seems like the wheelset is not the original one (or at least the hubs). Front hub is originally chromed and the rear hub is missing the drum brake (Bönibremse). As soon as I got the tools and frame bag mounted I will post some pictures of mine. I served as a military cyclist and bought my bike after it got decommissioned. Just last weekend I gave the rear hub a much needed service and cleanup... (see macro monday thread)

Meanwhile I've got another treat up the sleeve:
An original italian military bike. May I introduce the "Bianchi Bersaglieri":

SAM_4582.JPG

It is a foldable bike with full rubber tires, front wheel, as well as rear wheel are suspended. The general condition of the bike is quite allright for his age (after all, about 80 years!). The mechanical functions are there, but over the years a few things have been lost or tinkered: no chain, no brake pads, the original nut on the lower folding mechanism is missing, the quick release lever on the front wheel is missing, the pedals are not original and the cranks were welded to the bottom bracket axle.
According to this list the frame number 467XXX corresponds with the year of manufacture 1935.

The bike is currently for sale. So if you're interested and live in europe (better even in Germany), look it up on the bay or send me a pm.

Yes, you are correct. The wheels are Worksman wheels (from Chuck). I have the original wheels.
I like the Worksman better, and I can use standard tires. I like my Schwalbe tires.
I have the originals in storage.

Where did you get this beauty and what year is it made?
Guessing from the chainwheel it has been produced by Condor somewhere between 1905 and 1988.
If you need to know more about it, just head over to ordonnanzrad.ch there you will find almost everything about these bikes and on veloklassik.ch you still get NOS spareparts (but obviously not for cheap) and even new Army Bikes (put together from NOS Original parts)

Yes it's a Condor.
I've messaged you before regarding the bicycle. I got a lot of information from you about the bike.
Thanks

Here's one I built from scratch, drawing inspiration from WW2 army Harley Davidsons. It's named 'Suicide squad'
