Very nice bike! But it seems like the wheelset is not the original one (or at least the hubs). Front hub is originally chromed and the rear hub is missing the drum brake (Bönibremse). As soon as I got the tools and frame bag mounted I will post some pictures of mine. I served as a military cyclist and bought my bike after it got decommissioned. Just last weekend I gave the rear hub a much needed service and cleanup... (see macro monday thread)
Yes, you are correct. The wheels are Worksman wheels (from Chuck). I have the original wheels.Very nice bike! But it seems like the wheelset is not the original one (or at least the hubs). I like the Worksman better, and I can use standard tires. I like my Schwalbe tires.
I have the originals in storage.
Where did you get this beauty and what year is it made?
Yes it's a Condor.Where did you get this beauty and what year is it made?
Guessing from the chainwheel it has been produced by Condor somewhere between 1905 and 1988.
If you need to know more about it, just head over to ordonnanzrad.ch there you will find almost everything about these bikes and on veloklassik.ch you still get NOS spareparts (but obviously not for cheap) and even new Army Bikes (put together from NOS Original parts)
Ok, now as you say it, I remember...Yes it's a Condor.
I've messaged you before regarding the bicycle. I got a lot of information from you about the bike.
Thanks
