Jimmy, a couple of your urbans, did you use a lensbaby? Nice stuff in any case.

I'd like to have one, one of these days.

Thanks! The first is shot with a TS-E 90mm, and the other 2 are with a TS-E 24mm.

I do have a LensBaby 2.0, though...

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.

I was out for a bike ride in Nickerson State Park and saw this in the middle of the road. It had walked up the hill from the Cedar Swamp and was heading for Cliff Pond. Every piece of water on the Cape has a few of these big daddy's. This was about 18" on the shell which is about from your elbow to your hand less the fingers  . The rare big ones range up to about 3 feet which I've seen two in my life. During the late 19th and early 20th century young boys would catch the snappers and haul them to the train depot to sell them for the NYC market. In the 60's a few friends from Brewster would catch these in the sloughs of Upper and Lower Mill ponds and sell them to the fancy "High Brewster" resturant where they would use it or sell it to the NYC market.

I found a box of photos after my dear mom passed away several years ago. They're very small pictures and I've been scanning them for abouat a week now. This is one of them. The girl in the picture is my mom and the boy to her left is my late Uncle Joe.

Like XDDOROX, I also build/customize 1:64 diecast, along with plastic models, so most of my photography ends up with these endeavors as the subjects: (the little pics are clickable links to slideshows)
