Our cat enjoys being outside. He never strays far or poops in other gardens (he doesnt make it to the other gardens). But sometimes he realizes there are bigger rats near the water than himself and then he pulls this face near the window:

He's just a lovely little British shorthair cat.
 
I too was once stoic and un-flummoxed. But then I got flummoxed and had to start all over again.
Lennie is awesome. We have a squirrel that spins his tail when he's on to something good and
another squirrel shows up. We call him twirly tail, which, now that I spelled it out, is a rather bland
and un-imaginative name. I'll have to work on that.
 
Twirly tail is amusing but it’s not stoic enough. ;-)

BTW, that American perception of Britts waned after the British invasion in the early ‘60s.

I think it was mostly fostered by American WW2 movies and all those Basil Rathbone flicks.

Mick Jagger (et al) pretty much reversed all that.
