Re: Muscle Bikes

Great idea, I've got a few of these. I think it's safe to include choppers in the musclebike catagorie, most of them were built from musclebikes.
It's the Green Manalishi with the two prong crown! Ha.

Detail of the Shimano 5-speed Click-Stick: recalibrated to a 3-speed for the Sturmey-Archer SX-RK3; 1st and 2nd speed were locked-out – 3rd, 4th and 5th are now 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Thanks Luke, my thoughts exactly. Now can you tell me why the only boys muscle bikes I have had to get spray bombed in farm enamel red.[emoji24] That paint shall be my enemy till the day I die.

Brief update: rerouted the Shimano Click-Stick shifter cable on order to reduce cable housing tension.

I have the same Manta-Ray, 2005. I have two of them. I want to take the rear tire from the other one and use it for the front. But I need the right fork to do that. Got any ideas for what kind of fork I need, bro? I dig the fork you have on yours. My e-mail address is "[email protected]"

Hi Zigg, you can probably use the fork from a 20” Fat Bike and the front hub, rear rim and tire from the second bike by lacing its front hub to its rear rim (check the spoke count first for compatibility).

Although, it might be cheaper to buy a complete Fat Bike 20" front wheel.

Re: Muscle Bikes

Here are a few of mine:

I see that you put a 20 inch springer fork on your Black Friday Flamboyant Green. A good move, as the original fork was too short. Like the fact that you removed the original front fender as well. That was an ugly fender in my opinion. Dig the old style lunch box.

Love the purple Huffy Rail. Always wanted one of those.

Re: Muscle Bikes

'74 Stingray Fastback. All original. Thought about selling it, but I just can't bring myself to do it.

Don't sell it. That would be a bad move. This bike is pretty darned rare, just like the 73's.
