Did you have to do anything out of the ordinary to make them fit? I was trying to do that on my 60 flightliner. I think I have to add another link to my chain for some reason. blwnmnyI've used 26x2.125 which I think look great with or without fenders,. naturally you have more a headache with, but when fitted right look really slick., like the fenders are painted on Im on 26x1.75 Bridgestones right now.

Just cut a notch out of each side of the fender where it goes thru the seat stays. Then you are able to spread the fender to accept the wider tire. The added chain link will help also.Notches at the seat stay? I don't mean to sound stupid, but I'm trying to visualize what you did.
