I love this place. Seeing people getting inspiration from others, sharing ideas, helping with technique and tips. Bikes getting better when someone learns something new, and people enjoying themselves in the process. The internet isn't just a place to show off how much better you are than others, it can be used for the betterment of others!

Just spent the last week off and on catching up with the class 1 builds. A lot of awesome stuff going together. I was going to skip this build off because summer is car time for me but I’m glad I built something. How some of you guys do all the detail work is crazy. Once it’s a rider I kind of lose interest in all the small details!

I lose steam when the heat gets unbearable , at least most cars have A/C .

I enjoy the mechanical aspect and the tinkering. I hit the wall when a paint can shows up. Been avoiding the Donkey since I scuffed and scratched it in March. As soon as I got it prepped, I hated it. Might be my last paint job.

The Jamis Sand Jam is a nice bike seat .

The sand jam pedals on there are cool too, one side regular, other side rubber for barefoot pedaling. But, cheeks!

The last time I was welding on the back porch in the rain I electrocuted myself and the welder burst into flames. That is technically why I never finished this one.

Man I hope you don't think that happened in my thread. I thought I missed posting a photo of what I had in mind. First of all I tend to barely find my tool I just had in my hand. Nevermind remembering what I just posted. I just now figured out how to go look at the link you added. I am still laughing because I just had to get a tetanus shot when I fileted my knuckles and needed stitches. I kept lying to them about it . I hate shots so bad
