For those who subsribe to XM/sirius

Ok, i was curious to when the music will actually collide...will i need to buy another receiver or something?
I dont know if their music is even actually colliding, but shouldnt they?

Im a sirius addict...and im just curious

they both operate on 2 different satellite systems, so unless xm starts filling in the empty sirius stations and vice versa we wont get them currently. the merger had to be approved before they could start planning for additional programming. from what theyve said on sirius stations, new radios would be needed eventually (10 years down the road) when new satellites are up. for the current set-up i would think the sports chanels would be shared by both before the music stuff gets shared though.
