Also seemed to be more southwest wind (headwind).
Then due west like the Weather channel said.
Not a bad ride in even at 14 degrees.

That must have been a subzero wind chill :shock: Not bad? :shock:

Saturday I took the kids to the beach!

Temp was in the upper teens, and when we got to the lake the wind was strong out of the north =cold!

Over Friday night when got 3 inches of snow.
And it been so cold the boys and I went to go look at Lake Michigan to see how much ice there is.

^ Taber trying to keep his face warm at Montrose Beach.

Standing out on the thick ice made by the waves.

After 20 or 30 mins it was feeling very cold.

A few inches of VERY WET snow last night. Roads very slushy,road home on the streets, my average speed was higher then the cars crawling in 6 PM traffic.

Didn't get any traffic shots.

But did get this video as I road through the park by my house.

When I got home my kids were checking out the neighbors snowman.

Most of us in the midwest & all the northern states practically live in longjohns most of the winter! :lol: :mrgreen:

About time for a update.

Over last weekend got the springer fork back together. With new chorme legs ( THANKS Sensor!)

Went for a ride with the TailDraggers on Saturday.

Then this morning put a fender on because a wet snow strom was coming.
Pic of Lake Michigan with a nice 20 MPH northeast wind (tailwind) on the way to work

Pic with the bike in the same spot but looking south.

Turned out the fender was a good call very wet heavy snow for the ride home.

Yesterday we finally got some real snow here.

Snowstorm started about 8:00am I got on the bike just before 9am

Just a quarter inch on the ground. Had a really nice ride down the lakefront.

Coworker Bob and I the only ones crazy enough to ride. With 10 inches of snow expected.

I wasn't sure I would be able to ride home. But it was warm enough out that the salt trucks kept the main roads in good shape.

Made it home with no problems... The fender is not the best looking but so glad I had it on
With all the slush on the roads.

Your hard core to the bone. I thought about going out on the bike and how much fun it would be, but snow blowing and taking the boys sledding took up my night. And by the time I had time to go I was exhausted.
