Dat's cuz you 'da man! btw...diggin' those cuffs!

i am? lol

if your gonna make a skull bike, ya gotta wear the skull shirt. :)

well i went out and spoiled myself a little. picked up a new canon powershot sd 1400. (14.1 mega pixels)
for the extra $$ it just made more sence than purchasing another battery for my old sd1000.
and canon's digi elph series have always been good to me.

so i got some new pic's for ya now i have a camera with a macro setting.

its a rainy, gloomy gloomy day around here so further paintings on hold.

Looking good overall. Those are some mad skilz on painting those tombstones.

Re: skull-o sis (bust'n out the girly skills. :) )

Damn, I am digging the tatoo frame design. What's next from the Lab of Dr. Icy?

thought perhaps some diabolical lighting was in order.

these are just walmart car bling. most of the pack's of different accesories have a try me button. some of them being pretty cool little buttons themselves. i'll be using one on this build.
theres also a small 12volt battery (sometimes a double) gonna run my lights with the batteries supplied and buttoms supplied.

Re: skull-o sis (diabolical lighting :) )

well most of the wiring is finished. (mock up) i'll conceal as much as possible within the frame.
gotta locate my heat shrink to finish up before hand.

the on/off toggle will control my running lights (skull/speedo)
i'll use the small red nightmare oxide button for the blue moon marker lights.

this thing is quickly becoming a labour of love.

i'm not looking forward to the end of the buildoff, i can see i'm gonna suffer some serious withdrawl. :)

That Moon is over the top!!!!!!!!

sorry guys, i'm just having too much fun with the new camera.

the moon was actually a quick fix. i chipped the black paint in the center. i was gonna just paint it white
but then i saw the extra leds in my lighting box. :)

and a light bulb went off.

Re: skull-o sis (diabolical lighting :) )

wow! the lighting all in the speedo makes me think of christine, but it would only completely fit if the light was green..

Re: skull-o sis (diabolical lighting :) )

did some pinstriping

not digging it. it looks good from far but far from good.
IMG_0069-1.jpg

should'a made some time to practice. these are literally my first attempts.
pretty tough trying to do tiny pinstripes with a miniscule brush that doesn't hold paint.

i'm gonna see if i can fix it after it dries, otherwise i'll just sand and repaint it black for the next venture.
IMG_0070.jpg

thought the nitmare oxide turned out wicked! its the only reason i haven't sanded it already.

stretch i almost bought a green light for that very reason. started thinkin it might clash, so i stuck with good old red. :)

Re: skull-o sis (diabolical lighting :) )

ah first attempts at striping? admirable for the leap forward, but maybe just some cool looking labels might be more fitting. :D glad you were thinking the same thing. i figured you didnt b/c red and green might give off the wrong (x-mas) vibe.

no need to beat around the bush.
i know it sucks, you know it sucks, lets call a chicken a chicken. :)

i think i learn as much if not more from my failures as i do when i get it right.
its the reason i've been showcasing my failures in this thread (figured you guys might learn from em also)
