Time for something practical.
Plan is for a cargo bike to carry parts between my home and workshop. Currently using my E stay, but it is no good for heavy/bulky stuff.

Thinking I might like to go for a laid back, pedal forward geometry. Similar to my Easter stretch cruiser test run.

I dug a rear triangle from the parts pile and Trimmed it apart

3 rims and tyres from the parts pile. Chunky rear, smooth rolling fronts.

Got in a bit of practice with the new welder, extending a set of bars for another bike. Ready to tackle the frame for this build now.

Basic frame welded together. Onto the top tube, BB etc next. Low and laid back is the plan

I do enjoy seeing the ideas taking shape and then the parts laid out and then the welded up
frame. Even a part of it, as the rest will follow.
It seems that if the idea can be expressed, then the idea can be made to come to life.

It's the coming up with the different ideas and the ways to carry them out that moves me most.
Seeing the work in progress and then finished comes in a very close 2ond.

Do you sleeve your extensions and butt joints?

Yes all the joints are sleeved internally.

Had finished the basic frame before c19 got me, and didn't get any pics. Feeling a little better today, so dragged all the bits out for a mock up.

This one is not going to make the finish line. But, I will finish it in the future.
