More sanding, more priming followed by more sanding, a little frame bending and some pillow block sawing went on in the Elm Street Shops and Foundry.

I was able to stretch the frame enough for balloon tires without any cutting--life is good.

Got the wheels put together and painted.
Shout out to Flythe Bicycles on West Street in Raleigh NC for the hookup. Reasonable price and fast turn around on the order.

Saturday I fabbed a seat post--thanks for the steel rod, Pop.
Tweaked a few things and did the final mock-up assembly--next week it all gets torn down for final paint and re-assembly.

Seat post looks a little long.

That's more like it.

Ok.

The humidity finally dropped enough for the paint to dry so I did some assembly--brake connected, motor mounted

chains and controls are next

attached controls, installed drive chains, it rolls and the brake works
next week fab an exhaust, wire the ignition . . .
