Always used Krylon, Rust oleum, and store brand, depending on what I was painting. Though recently, Kilz has come out w/a spray can line, and they spray really great! I had problems w/Rust oleum's rusty metal primer clogging the nozzle, I don't know if they've gotten better on that. I also use Klean Strip's spray rust converter, great for those rusty parts! Dupli color has a nice metal etching primer. They have it at Advance auto, and also their line of filler primers. ~Adam
 
hobby stories carry house of kolor in spray cans .... any paint will work well if done correctly, you always wanna make sure to spray a primer / wet sand ... spray your color onces, wet sand, twice wetsand clear coat wetsand, clear coat finale wet sand ...that will give it a clean look with no texture / runs drips reduced .. good luck
