Spring Carlisle swap meet

Last weekend was the annual Spring Carlisle swap meet. While primarily an event for car collectors, hot rodders and the like, there are usually a fair number of bikes for sale all around the grounds. Here are the pictures that I took. I'll keep the comments and captions to a minimum.

There where a lot of interesting pieces, and a lot with price tags no true rat rodder would pay. $650 was a popular number - the blue 3-star Deluxe and the chrome Flightliner were both tagged at about that. There were some deals to be had, though. The blue and yellow Fastback mutt was only $40, and the gold Huffy Thunderbird with the rams horn bars seemed reasonable at $100. The green 24" Huffy Super Stock was interesting at $175, but more than I was willing to spend. The one bike I did come home with was this:


A 1970 Schwinn Super Sport. Rough, but all there. I couldn't pass it up for $10...
