springer fork for Huffy Cranbrook

I have a Huffy Cranbrook and want to put a springer fork on it. I want a chromed straight one like the one here: http://www.choppersus.com/store/product ... ed-1%22-CP

What specs should I look for to ensure it will be a relatively easy swap? That one says it's for 1" threaded headsets. Would that one fit? WIll I need other parts with it like different bearings?

I got a generic bent springer on ZOOT...Huffy Good Vibrations.

The steer tube was too long and it wasnt threaded long enough...

I used an extra head bearing cup as a spacer.Been fine for years.
