Was going to enter the muscle bike competition, but, one thing led to another and the project stalled out. So, I am just posting what I have done so far and sit this one out. A lot of talent and creativity here on the site, never fails to inspire me.

The seat looks to me like it needs to be sitting right over the rear wheel, instead of up where it is. I like the leather work.

Thanks for the input on the seat. On second thought, maybe re-classify this as a drag bike, "The Punk Steamster."

The springer front fork idea looks cool. Like the shifter Idea too. Any details Re: make model of 3 speed hub and brand of front derailleur shifter?

The hub was off of a crusty old, English-made 3-speed bike that I bought at a local bike swap meet. There was so much surface rust on it that, if there was any markings on it, they got sanded away.

It could very well be, they were and are, everywhere. It still works flawlessly.

Also real glass, and they look really cool when the sun shines thru the window on them.
