Remember early on when I said "you need more mass in the rear to counteract that massive Pro Flex fork in the front". Yeah, forget all about that. This rear is 'unforgettable'. :inlove:

A build in class two?

:21::21::21: I don't think I have time for a second build!!!
But, I did put them on my Hex tube frame for fun yesterday.

Another distraction at the office until I am able to work on SteamRoller this weekend.
I remembered that I had this custom chrome Shelby springer fork, so I played around with it on my Silver King Hextreme.

You're just trying to buy votes now...
I love it, what else you got!

Can't get votes for this unless I build it :D :D Just playing with parts in the office.

Ah man, that sucks. I do remember it.

Enough distractions with other bikes. It's the weekend and time to GTB!

Actually kinda boring stuff. I'm still working on all of the various seat brackets that I need.

I got the bed frame angle bracket mounted to the rear nanner bracket.

Broke out the cobblers anvil to "adjust" the bracket a little.

Found a use for a scrap piece of the holey square tube. It makes for a nice drill press standoff for odd shape parts that I can't place on the drill surface very well. Gonna keep this for future use.

Bolted it all up on the nanner. I knew that I was also going to have to open up the angle of the bed frame piece, but needed it all put together to see how much.

Well, the angle iron on bed frames is pretty stiff stuff. After wailing on it with a sledge and using the vice it ended up cracking at the weak spot along a row of holes.

Luckily, I hadn't put the lane find bed frame back in the lane. I cut a new slice of angle from it and wailed on it with the sledgehammer before drilling any holes this time.

Finally getting a feel for how this is gonna look and I like it.

Dang, it must be a certain type of steel alloy that doesn't have the inherent elasticity of steel.

It's strong stuff because I beat the crap out of it.

Drilled the holes for the sissy springer and I am digging it even more. I still need to use a dye on the left spring rod.

I still need to dress up the brackets with a grinder, but only one more seat bracket left to make, then I'll be able to mount the front bracket and cut the sissy springer legs to the right length and mount them to the frame.
