I also feel that big/wide bars would disrupt the silhouette and distract the attention from the frame, would also make it look smaller. I think these lines require a more minimalist approach.
While those bars look great, my first impression with just the frame/wheels/fork was more of a salt track/board tracker/"looks-like-it's-going-fast-already" vibe. Of course, you've already done salt track, and we've see your bars-o-rama thoughts, so, I'll just sit back, relax, keep my opinions to myself, and enjoy the show!
Another "Emelda Bar-cos" year?
I know you've got a couple other ideas.
I was thinking that. Maybe something like a modified Clubman or moustache bar that puts you in a more aggressive stance?

This just keeps getting cooler with each pic!
Any chance you could put an arch on the end of those bars? I think it would look good if they matched the arch of the top tube.
Because of the mountain bike front end, perhaps some type of comfort butterfly bar, or touring?

I dunno if the touring bar has enough "Flair" for a Kingfish build (see what I did there?) but those butterfly bars could be funky.
What is that seat off of? I like that high kick in the back.
The only way to have handlebars Everything looks fantastic on this build!@Skipton suggested flipping the bars.
