Picked this up earlier in the week and I'd like to know the break down of the serial #.

judging by the outline of the head badge I'm going to say Western Flyer.

The frame was built by the Cleveland Welding Company which supplied frames for many manufacturers including Western Flyer so that's likely how it was badged. The ACw dates it at '50 or '51.

My numbers say its a 51. I agree the badge shape looks Western Flyer also. Rear rim and fender are not correct either. I don't think the bars are either.

'51 with some cobbled together stuff. These bikes are awesome and have tons of potential. Ya need to get a Shockmaster fork on that bad boy. Here's my '51 Hawthorne, same CWC built bike.
