I pulled the fenders off to cut a little off the ends. I was looking through my parts stash to find a taillight or reflector to mount up when I finished chopping. I found both. I found an old seiss headlight without any insides or lens and a inch and a half reflector that covered the opening perfectly. I cut a piece of scrap metal, drilled and tapped a hole for the reflector screw. A little jb weld and a couple pins will hold it. I will get it mounted when the fender goes back on.

Killer little piece!!

I finished up the rear fender reflector and mounted today. I also cut about 3 inches off the bottom of the fender. I used the cut off piece to trace the end and cut the point back on. I also took the bike for a spin around the neighborhood and everything went smooth. A few more details and off to picture time.

Beautiful build! Excellent fit, function, and styling throughout.
Love it!

I think I'm finally ready for final photos. I raised the front fender brace up to match the rear a little better. I also painted a couple stripes on the tank sides and fender tips. When it dried I rubbed most of it off with a used scotchbrite pad. I also put on a torpedo light which I sprayed with some grey and black rubbed in to match the fender. Stuck on a set of Pbr valve caps i.picked up somewhere. Last little detail was to install a watch holder on the bars for a pocket watch. Us old guys don't like to be late for dinner or nap time. Final photos on the way.

CONGRATS on another superb build. Killer details and very well executed.
Love it!

This looks great! I love the brass nuts on the fork supports, and the pocket watch. So much class.
Thanks. I usually use brass nuts and bolts when I can to to match up with the brazing on the frame.

Great job with the colors, finishes, patina. The whole bike has good balance and the aesthetic is fantastic. Nice job!
Thanks. I really liked how the patina worked out on this bike. I took a couple of photos and blew up to 8x10. I looked at them for a couple days trying to decide if it needed more or something changed. I read someone one say on here once if you think it needs more you probably have enough already. I'm happy with it.
