Way to hijack this thread... I like it. Yeah, that was my Samurai for over 10 years. Basic, SPOA, 1.6 8v, 5.13 diff gears, cage, snorkel, etc... Went everywhere I wanted it to, and some places I didn't need it to. I miss it, but the family came first.

Trooper eh? I can respect that, I have a little history with some Troopers... here's me riding one as it crossed a rocky creek:

What else? Any ideas? I was thinking of antiquing all the stripes to make them look really old but I'm not sure of it.

Correct... no antiquing. Fresh paint on old iron/primer makes a rat rod, old worn out stripes on old iron/primer make an old rod.*

Great build. Classic racing/rat-rod look. A lot going on yet in a subtle, subdued way. Not over the top/gaudy. Don't know how to explain it.
