What an interesting composite wheel. It looks great and will be very strong. When I bought my 1971 Schwinn Paramount race bike new it came with sewup rims that were aluminum clad wooden rims. They were very strong and durable. Kind of the opposite of your construction.

Such a fine looking wheel. Really hard to beat this on cool factor.
