I just picked up my first set of Super Tall Ape Hangers. I found them cheap on craigslist, oddly. Madison isn't much of a rat rod town, but occasionally things like this show up. Not sure if they'll ever make it on a bike. They may become part of some elaborate wall hanging.
The weird thing. They came from a LovelyLowrider cruiser I passed on several months back at the city/county bike auction. And the guy lived just down the street!
Super Ape, BTW, is a fantastic early dub album by Lee Perry and the Upsetters. If you enjoy that kind of thing.
