I don't think I'd mess with the fenders and fork. They are naturally rusted just right and don't need to be matched to look good. It's not uncommon to mix parts on rat rods. In fact, it tends to add to the overall look if it's done right.

Thanks R-Man that makes me feel better I agree with ya . I would hate to push it to far & make it look like I just tried to hard and ended up stepping in[emoji90]. I think it would have been easier for me to take the angle grinder to parts then to spray paint on years of natural rust and age ....

Catching up here. Fauxtina looks good, I can see that trick being used many times in the future.

This frame had a lot of small pitting witch worked great for the fo Ratiic finish it seems to trap the paint when sanding through the layers [emoji88]

Here are some up dates on the old dog

Also filled some holes in the fenders from the old straps with JB Weld it took two coats then I ground off the excess with my Dremel tool.

Its hi definition grass brought in for the photo shoot but I do have to cut it my self .

Thanks man not sure what's a bigger hit the grass or the bike lol . Nothing like having to pay someone to fertilize your lawn . If you don't it dies and the neighbors will not be happy . I hate spending money on grass . But I do cut it my self . I need to get back out in to the sticks & out of the suburbs .
Any way thanks on the compliments on the bike I'm pretty happy with the color also it has that swampy look I was hoping for . Can't wait to get the fork back on ...
