The wheels were trued up and some parts arrived today. Another mullet arises! Bars and seat are still undecided. The BMX stem still hasn't arrived.

The cranks are 38/24 teeth. 38 is probably good for just about any offroad in low gear, 24 can be used by manually shifting the chain to the smaller chain wheel.

The frame reminds me of a 'BMX like folding bike'. Very interesting!

I saw a T6 Texan old trainer flying over our vegetable garden here last spring or summer. Being the nerd I am I instantly was alert and looking around. My wife asked why I was looking around searching the skies.... I said one thing.... 'radial engine'. My wife sighed

You’ll want a rear derailleur or chain tensioner pulley otherwise you will get massive chain slap when you ride in that 24

Definitely. I have a shimano cluster with a 34 tooth low cog. I may never use the 24 tooth chain wheel but it's there if I want it. I found some derailleur hangars and will be hooking up the gears in the next week.

My wife had a similar reaction when they were flying an old huey chopper over the river for rescue training.
"Why are you running around looking at the sky like you're expecting the lord to appear at any moment? It's just a helicopter "
I could tell from a couple of kms away that it was special

We had a few T28's land and takeoff from Whiting Field back in the 80's. Everyone was outside to check them out. One taxied by us and sounded like a dozen Harleys.

I added the disc brakes front and rear.

Cables are on and everything adjusted. Yellow grips and 100mm rise bars. I don't have a good derailleur so it's time to order one.

The new derailleur and chain are on and just needs the shifter and cable hooked up.

Everything is hooked up and I covered up the lettering so the airplane decals can go on. I have yellow paint that matched up without mixing. It needs one more coat.

That's pure luck.
