Ok I know schwinns are the most wanted tandem bikes but is there any value in foreign made tandems?

I don't know that the Schwinn tandems are that wanted. They seem to be a dime a dozen. I would guess something steer-from-the-rear are the most wanted. Sorry I don't know about foreign but I think it would be more rare here.

90% of tandems are just relative value around $100-$200. Steer from the rear are a bit more, and the holy grail of tandems is the Schwinn Mini Twinn. Other than that I am not sure.

I also don't think Schwinn tandems are the most wanted, there just seems to be a lot of them around. A tandem is a specialty bike and it's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. For me I gave $20 for one just for the novelty of it.

I feel you outskirts I would have been hard pressed to get rid of it. I was offered a tandem today for 20 but not sure what shape it is in yet. Im going to get it just to have one was just wondering what it would be worth if I sold it, I was figuring about 100

Yeah, I was hard up for cash at the time and $200 sounded good considering it had no brakes and the wrong wheels. And I kept the motor and sold it separate.

Just keep tabs on it then when your in the green down the road snag it back
