Tandemonium

What do you get when you cross a Walmart tandem with a Walmart fat bike? I call it tandemonium. The tandem is ready and the mongoose is on order. Can't wait to start.

The mongoose arrived, not much on quality,

Decided to cut the back off the tandem and replace it with the rear of the mongoose.

Just need to work it some for the transplant to be complete.

To put the centerline of the crank in the same spot I turned up these spacers

The mongoose crank tube is wider and smaller in diameter so it worked well

The tandem rear trailing arm had 12 degrees of lift, not sure if that was important but I craved out enough room to copy it just in case.

I am not sure why, but all of your photos are very small. You may want to look at making them bigger.

Not sure why they look so small. I will work on that. I just take them with an iPhone. May be I should try a camera next time. We will see if that makes them better.

To Aline the front and rear chainrings I had to turn up this spacer. This is the 2nd try, the 1st I made from steel and it was too heavy.
