I have always loved the look of muscle bikes and I decide to do one for my second build. I have to apologize though for not taking you along the process as I'm not much for keeping journals. It took me about 2 weeks to build. Anyway here are some photos to document the work in progress up to the final outcome. Nothing fancy here, just a straight build with very minor customs. It's an unknown frame, but judging by the weld it probably isn't locally made. By the way this bike is for my wife, but I love riding it as well. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I enjoyed building it. Cheers! :)

Hi guys, I was just thinking off replacing the forks with a 26" or 29" then using 16" tire on the front for a chopper look? I'd imagine it would raise the front end of the bike to give it more of that look, would it? What do you guys think? Would it also be prone to wheelies in that configuration since the front would be lighter? :)

JC,

I don't know if I would mess with perfection. It looks really cool now.

It looks awesome as is, but if you want to keep a similar rake as you currently have and change to a 16" front you would need a 24" fork.

Luke.

Yeah, nothing like riding your creations. Me and my wife have come to a point where we feel we have to ride the bikes regularly and in rotation so they all get equal mileage otherwise the "babies" might get jealous of one another and break down on us...I know, were crazy like that! :21:

I did! Yeah, they are awesome! How I envy your trails, looks very bike friendly and safe, how we wish we had that. We on the other hand have to go out of our way to find trails like that in the capital. Looking forward to more of your rides :)

Are those 20" tires? And will they go on a standard 20" rim? They would work well as a rear tire on a muscle bike, as yours is.

Yes, they are. I'm actually planning on using this bike for the MBBO which is perfect timing because my boss (wife) saw Emma Stone's bike in her GQ photoshoot and wanted that look (small tire on the front, big on the back). I'll be swapping the rear for a more slicker one I found at this small hole in the wall shop in Manila. They also have a lot of goodies and from what I heard from the owner they have a new shipment of parts coming in this week. He goes by the name Jojo Bike Parts on Facebook, just message him and ask for the parts you need. Tell him you know me, Joseph the kalbo (bald) guy, haha! It's easy to haggle prices with him too. Also add me up if you have an account Joseph Conde :)
