anyone know the history on these bikes. they where sold by sears.. 5spd nice bike
will post pic in when I can find my gawl dang'd camera i think the cat hid it cant understand why

I saw a mens and womens pair of three speeds once, pretty much a free spirit bike with TED's signature on them, I was told he had a deal with Sears and they put his signature on everything sports related they had for a time ... maybe even kitchen appliances :| ... the ones I know of almost have a red/white/blue bicentennial look to them.

this one is a 20 inch with a 5 spd .. and was well cared for .. thanks for the info...
 
They used the Williams name indiscriminately for several years on bikes. Basically no different than "free spirit" later on. Most were made by Murray, as usual for Sears. Some were imported.
