Picked it up from a great guy who actually lurks here once in awhile :)
I added the brooks saddle the original seat is with the bike

is there another wright bros. wanna be in the works?
nope this one is staying just like this. I considered making a tourist bike out of it but the handlebar tape is perfect and sets it off nicely
My new commuter :)
all 45lbs of it hahaha

THAT is awesome!
I always like seeing the "tiny" headbadge on the huge head tube! too funny!

I put some new cheap Bell tires I had on it for now to see if I like the blackwalls
I like it even more :)
now I need to dig up a correct reflector from my stash

If you don't feel like digging, I've got one I'll trade you for something! It even has the exact bracket you need that mounts around the brake caliper.

Glad you are enjoying the bike. Ending up a commuter is a much better fate than sitting in storage. I love the Brooks saddle on it. I would have kept the gumwalls but then again...it's your bike now. Have fun with it.

sweet bike. i've always kinda liked that shade of green on schwinns. had two varsities of my own, but have parted ways with them a few years ago. both of them were about indestructable, but one (yellow) i was especially hard on. i figured if i rode it especially hard, id run it into the ground and it would be a great parts bike for the other varsity. only problem, it never broke or failled reguardless how hard i rode it. after giving up trying to run it into the ground, i decided to just fix it up as well. next day, it was stolen. go fig.
