So, I have not posted in a very long time. I've been messing around with this and that, but haven't really felt like anything was worth wasting anyone's time with a post…then this idea came to me:
I had some old Columbia 3 Star parts that were hanging out in my parts pile waiting for a home. I had some 20" muscle bike frames that I got in "bulk" from a guy at work…
Hmmm…why not combine them??
Smell what I'm stepping in yet?
Needed some handle bars, wheels, a rear fender and a little heat to make the bend in the tank…
I like 'em ratty, but it's a bit too ratty…better paint some parts…
I found the old Columbia decals under that terrible silver paint, so I tried to leave it a bit thin over it. I might "age" the paint after it's finished since I did a really quickie job on it.
Here it is assembled and waiting for tires…
