... came out of the shop to find it on my doorstep. Thanks so much to rod for selling me the bike. I don't imagine I'll get to working on it all too soon with everything else going on, but it will be a real fun winter project. I think it's probably 1890's. Fork and crank still turn! :lol: I'm really digging it, and it doesn't actually seem like it will be too tall for me (I'm only 5' 5").

WOW!!! the whole look of this bike is awsome. luv the tall bar stem and the bars. see, when someone says please don't flip the bars, the whole bt is overdone, well this is what is was and this is what has been lost. i like em flipped bars. :)

Thanks all, I think this will be my first fixie. :D And yes, those bars are welded that way! :shock: The stem and bar are two pieces welded together where they are joined. I won't be changing those, and I do like them flipped.
