Starting to get it dialed in pretty well . I had to notch & modify the chain guard which is a Columbia Repop . Also the new school Schwinn hinge fender I made. The chain was rubbing .

And the dodads just keep coming .

The bike needed a little extension on the Wald kick stand being it was not made for this frame .
The extension was made from a pipe elbow . It will also help it from sinking in the dirt. It’s looks like a exhaust pipe now .

The first of the pond pictures,,, some people have fountains some people have ponds [emoji6]
Still a few minors adjustment but it’s close to body & paint now. It rids well and is comfortable & laid back . That was the main focus of this build & of course look cool as heck .

Of course G, if it was me, I'd say just throw some grips on it and you're done. The mix of colors, textures, shiny and dull, it's like a painting by a master that you have to stare at for hours to take it all in. Might be your best build yet.

Thanks OJ i definitely have more time into it than any other bike . I do like the mix of colors & textures , shine & dull . Not sure what I will do yet . But the other half of me wants to put a aged & ratifies paint job on this Skylark. Time will tell ,,,,,

Nothing much been been busy at work & play . Also it’s been wicked hot as you know ol buddy . I just can’t get in the mood after being out side all day . Then go into a 95% garage .

The ratification paint process is under way . All I can say is three layers of paint & a lot of sanding with steel wool & scotch bright pad .
