That's one of those special mountain bike seats that is meant to keep you from falling out of the saddle on the bumpy trails.

I can understand what the man means.
Not everybody has to be the same. Its good to try different styles.

for instance, motorbikes have loads of different styles. a lot of the custom bikes are long and low. But then you get the Streetfighters, they have jacked up seat units. So do some of the survivalist/ mad max style bikes.
