I have a Schwinn reproduction 16x 1 3/4 S-7 type tire that I wanted to mount on a aftermarket Wheel Master rim. The rim came in the mail today and the tire is too big for it. The rim measures about 12 5/8. Is there a difference in Schwinn rims and aftermarket ones? Thanks

Thanks DesmoDog. It just couldn't be simple could it. That page covers about everything on tires. Now I'm ordering a new tire to fit my new rim.
