Love the Tour de Fat; the bikes, the beer, the music and everything. Alas, they are not coming to Austin this year (again). Asheville is about 300 miles closer to me than Tempe.

Saw em in a bar show on the Punk in Drublik tour in 94, and again at a couple of festivals this century.

FoCo is of course, the original. I've never been, but may go this year.
Fort Collins seems to be closer to you than Tempe. Asheville seems to be only a couple hundy less than FoCo.

Not this year, it was on. @Mr. Monkeyarms and I were up there and it was a hoot. I had forgotten all about it after the cancellation last year and Eric hit me up about it being on this year last week. Tough to estimate numbers, but there seemed to be well over 10,000 participants. A fantastic day in one of my favorite Colorado towns.

@Mr. Monkeyarms was taking pics, where I only took one all day near the end of the Bicycle Parade.

Beers & a sandwich downtown before heading to the party.
Parking at the brewery. Bikes as far as you could see. Had to be about 20,000 people there!
