I got a caustic soda burn on my foot at work. (I'll save you the photos) so last week working on the bikes has been difficult so doing stuff I can sitting down. Polished my stem
Not perfect but I can see myself.Hopeing by the weekend I'll be more mobile.

With a set of killer matching hubs too And for some reason I handed just handed them to him...

Didn't like the look of the other bars and when sitting on the bike at five feet arms were to high.

Those reflectors on those pedals need to go to waiting for spokes to build tire. Bike shop want 3 bucks each to cut and thread ordered on line.

I was determined to ride this today and I did
Mismatched tires till my spokes came in need to get a different handlebar to fit in stem. But I took it off rode

Got home she was muddy

Rides really nice and was a hoot

Found these in can't figure out how they got there need to go back with tools there's a a headlight I want.

If that's Guindon, I think it was from before the dam was built. Used to be farmers' fields out there. Super jealous of the bike and the ride!

Always great to see an ORBO build out in the wild! How's the gearing? Looks like a 46 or 48T chain ring and maybe a 19T rear cog. That's pretty hefty. But then I have to remind myself that not everyone on RRB is as ancient as I am.

42 the rear wheel isn't staying waiting for spokes. . I don't mind hefty I bike 12 km (7 miles) to and from work every day. Plus just cruising. .my summer build off bike has over 2000 km (1200 plus miles). Don't drive a car.

Went to the local leather shop today and found some of this

Schwinn made beautiful bikes but butt ugly seats so we can fix that.

And maybe a pad

Started the seat today

Cut that schwinn cover off

Tricky part drawing the leather you want extra but not to much or it harder to work with

Sharp blade is key

Not to bad

Soak in warm water this leather was thicker so a longer about an hour

Press it the mold work and pull it then wrap it up really tight I used packing tape now to wait till dry.

Nice touches, I like the way the rail around the back of the saddle reflects the curves of the bare steel tubes.

I think I'd go with the black. It goes with the cool black and silver color scheme on the frame and shows the rivets on the current seat cover.

The grey one isn't finished yet it would be finished the same but thinking black looks more aggressive.
