This afternoon i got a call from a lady about 2 miles away with some bikes in her basement she wanted gone. I rode over there and found 3 Roadmaster mountain bikes in fairly good condition. Nothing to brag about just clean and flip bikes. Got all 3 for 10 bucks and we were both happy.

Now the good part. While i am down there wrestling with the tangled together bikes i looked around a bit. These people were moving and i dont think they knew what was there because i got the feeling it was a rental and the prior renter left this stuff there. Anyway i spot a wooden work table with a big blue vise sitting in a corner covered in dust. I yelled and ask if it was for sale she said "what table?" It was a real nice table with a bench vise 2 woodworking vises built in pull out drawer and a full length tray on top. I think it was some sort of factory built table. Ended up with 3 bikes for 10.00 and the nice table for 5.00. I just bought myself a new portable building for my "shop" and this deal worked out great.

That table rocks!!!! And the vise too!!!
FOR $5!!!!!!
I am the first one to admit that I do pretty darn good at CL and Yard Sales, but dude!!! You beat me there!!!!
BRAVO!!!

The holes are for bench dogs ... Pegs that form a stop for usually your wood working project wedges can be used to clamp between two of them or the vice as one end using a dog in the outer jaw.

You found a great woodworking bench. Most jealous! The end vice can take a lot but will spring if loaded unevenly, side to side.

I bought one and paid way more when I was messing with woodworking.
I never used those vices. My best advice is throw them away ...move the metal
vice to the front where you can use it and bolt it to the wall where it won't move.
It was a nice score for the price.

Whats my table actually worth if i went to resell it? Thanks for the peg advice i kinda thought that was how it worked. Im no woodworker couldnt drive a nail straight. I have a nice steel table and big vise but you can never have enough work tables IMO. I already mentioned reselling it to my wife who quickly said NO so i guess that the end of that story but i would like an honest guess as to the value.

I was wondering why I never run into finds like these. Then I remembered basements are not that common in Texas!
Great find bro!

The thing that always cracks me up about stuff like this is....why $5?

If it were me, I would have at least told you $20...and you still would have thought it was a great deal.

Any number lower than that and I would have just given it to you.

Well, in answer to your Question, U.T., they're...
