Update Elgin need wheel and crank suggestions

i have a original 43 Elgin tank bike . I want to up date wheels and crank . This is a ballooner . Need to go all black on components . I have rebuilt the original hub " musselman " but still won't stop . This is a great bike and I want to ride it and need some suggestions on parts to use . I have never ratted a bike but yesterday saw vintage conversion and I want to give it a try .

I can tell you the nexus coaster brake hubs are great if you want multi-speeds. Or a good old Bendix coaster brake is hard to beat.
