***UPDATES**to my 64 Schwinn Typhoon and 79 Spitfire

I was bored over the weekend and decided to make a few changes to both my Typhoon and Spitfire, Here are before and after pictures, also I would love feedback on the wheel and tire combo on the Typhoon, Im torm between both looks. the White Tires with S2 wheels are on there now..

Added truss rods, primered, got the correct sprocket and chain guard... what do you guys think?

1964 Typhoon

replaced sprocket with newer 69 Typhoon mag sprocket, replaced wheels with old rusty Schwinn S2 on white Brick Tires.

thanks for the inspiration im picking up a 62 schwinn this week end and now i know what it need to look like they both look great....the first one what type of guard is it that you have ?

Thank you...I love old Schwinn's, I just picked up another frame last night. The chainguard on the first bike is the more common spitfire/cruiser that I see on most Schwinns
