Starting point is this stretch step through cruiser frame

Plus a bunch of donor tube.
Plus some cutting and welding.

Want to go for an art deco build this year. Been thinking how best to go for that look, and I think a delete seat post is in order. I'll add a robust top tube, then style up with a loooong tank.
Also thinking about a stylish rear suspension set up

There is definitely some influence from that design.
Australian bikes from that era were European rather than American, so we missed out on a lot of the cool frame styles of that period.

It's only subtle, but it's enough I think

Welded up the top tube, with internal sleeve. Capped the end, then welded into the frame. Also used a sleeve at the head tube joint to give it some extra meat.
