Well, went back out to the shop where I picked up the '37 Schwinn for cheap and came home with a Schwinn Varsity. I've been looking for a Varsity to ride, but I'm holding out for an orange or yellow one, so this one'll be flipped. The guy also had a complete '50s tandem there. After talking to the guy I told him I was into old bikes, and he said he'll bring out a swing bike and this "old 20 incher Schwinn with a bannana seat and big handlebars" soon! I'll be back next weekend.
Here's the Varsity though, cleaned up okay, needs some work to be rideable. Fun bike, these things are cash cows though, seems everybody on craigslist wants them. Here's a what it looked like when I got it and after
