Very Strange Frame

I picked up this 26" frame at the end of the Indy swap meet yesterday just as we were leaving. I was told it's a late 30's or early 40's Colson frame. I through some random parts on it last night just for the heck of it. Not sure what I'm going to do with it.

that is a cool frame , what do you think it is ? my first thought was maybe monark ? I like it will make a nice build 8)

I think it's a Colson. I posted an ad in the trade section to see if anyone is interested in trading me a frame & tank for it

It's a Colson. Those frames are S-O-L-I-D. Had a complete '49 Blister tank and it was the nicest of all the old bicycles I've owned.

That would be excellent for building an off-road bomber/"klunker". 8)
