it was fun entering my first build off here. now i look forward tothe next build off. perhaps another klunker build off...

p.s. its a hawthorne silver bullit, not hiawatha. (i know the its owner  )

 a 2 way tie for 4th place, another 2 way tie for 5th place, a 3 way tie for 6th place, a 4 way tie for 7th place and another 3 way tie for 8th place! The heat is on now! :D

After going to the 'vote here' page periodically and finding the same result, I've narrowed my conclusion down to 2 possibilities:
1) Not too many of my fellow bike builders are Metallica fans, or
B) I gotta step-it-up on my next build!!!

I had a great time with Blackened! Can't wait for the next build! Will that be the unofficial 'anything goes' build?

they were never the same after they all cut off their hair

in the event of a tie, the winner should be determined by a short track drag race between the two bikes.
i think you may be on to something!!!
sact. isnt that far from the bay........you guys could meet and duel on the pavement(heck ill even show up to film it..id really be going to check out the bikes in person  )
Just to break any kind of territoryal advantages I would block off my street, open up my unofficial bike museum/wrecking yard, and barbeque hot hogs.....and drinks well I dont ,but there is a Towermart right on the corner. My street is a quartermile long and four lanes wide it was a runway at one time.....just a thought

yea running at sac raceway would be an advantage i have run there a lot of times my truck always wants to roll the lights when in the right lane but stays put nice in the left when i put it "on the chip" before launching. lets rent infinion for a day lol

Ok, it was eating me up not knowing who built the bikes that I voted for, so I read through all of the build diaries. Some really cool stuff went on, it's a shame that some builders didn't finish in time. Congrats to everyone in the contest, no matter if you win or not, a lot of cool bikes I'd love to ride.

so, just wondering, would you have voted different :?:

I'm still very content on my 3 picks, it was just nice to finally know who built them. I will say Hotrod Girl was and still is my favorite bike, I wanna ride it (I'd be afraid to sit down though, pinch! ). But hey, I'd be more than happy and willing to ride any of the contenders.

hotrod girl is an awsome bike very well thought out but i agree that seat whew i would want to toss a pad on that when riding it then take the pad off for showing it.

Thank you so much!

I did about 10 km on it, which was not unbearable. my girlfriend has also ridden it a bit now (and loves it!).... it's ok, but we're going to make a cover that snaps on. I don't mind finishing back from most of these bikes, as long as I have picked up a bit of a fan base along the way.

yep by the time we are all done we will all be regular jessie james types lol

One of my favorites was the '63 Schwinn Racer Plain and Simple. That bike has a serious board track-hot rod look to it, No unneccesary doo-dads either. I guess I have a soft spot for diamond frames.
