I don't know if I can say anyone should feel they came last.

While there might not have been enough votes to indicate after top 3 we could use for other worthy builders, each of the builds has it's own character and value.

Aspects such as the ladies joining their husbands in building their own visions , father and son builds, fathers building for their daughters, others for family members including the 4 legged ones.

Themes developing using classic custom paint ideas, very rat rod examples, people machining parts most of us could only imagine building, people trying their first builds, others inspired from previous years going that step further this year. Builders in many continents and cultures all bringing their own examples of bikes and parts we may not see as often.

As a non builder, I know even seeing the threads and pictures as they were posted, there are some aspects and achievements I missed appreciating - however the experienced builders did not.

It has inspired me to buy a gas torch and start accumulating parts

The atmosphere and attitude during this competition has been outstanding as well.

I can only express my own congratulations to all who finished and to those that started and life and family needs had to take first place. I am sure that there will be builds finished before next year that will be well worth the wait.

Well said !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even though I have never met any other RRB member, there is a real family atmosphere on this web site that is rarely duplicated. Thanks to those that take so much of their time to keep this site going and so well organized.

Well said on all points! I have had the pleasure to meet five non-local RRBers so far (one was in Kiev, Ukraine on vacation last year) and it is a family out there. The Build Off brings out the best of that.

Only 8 bikes with no votes. I'm in an 8-way tie for last!! :D
I think I have it clinched with my pink grips

I don''t know, I'm still holding strong. I would have been shocked if I got a vote with all of the amazing bikes on here. I really liked your 80's themed build, it had a way bitchin paint job.

Looks like the link to the Simplistic Speed Gallery photo is broken.

He did say least vote getter... You didn't get a vote so you don't qualify as a vote "getter" :p
I win

What does that do? Does that blow your mind? That just happened!
Magic Man and El Diablo (the fighting chicken)!

You smell seat posts? To each his own, but that's just TMI as far as I'm concerned.

I wasnt expecting any votes, especially since im a newby around here. But in a perfect world i would win the rustyest build award. 8)

Still seeing a lot of single votes come across. Why wouldn't people use all three of their votes?

It's kind of like ammo.....use what u need to I get the job done. If you don't feel a need to use it all, then don't waste it on something you're not sure about.

Probably dont know that you can click three choices then hit accept. They probably choose one and hit accept, thinking they have two more shots.

New members  , or once a year site visitors who only vote for their "friends" bikes

If a member doesn't use all their votes, is it possible to complete the task? I wonder if some have accidently hit "submit" before casting the rest of their votes. I got in my 3 votes per catagory, but I am also notorious for hitting "submit" in error. So with that said, it should be possible for a person to use the remaining votes. I could be wrong though. I usually am!
