Every one has an opinion, and the definition of RR is not allowed, but are you telling me that Crusty Racer (and a huge list of other builds) isn't a True Rat Rod????? WOW!
I think I have to call bs on that one. That just sounds like a comment meant to stir up some fecal matter.

I really enjoyed watching most of the builds during RRBBO8, but the way the voting is set up to allow all members (new, old, only just joined to vote, participants, non-participants, etc.) to vote, it doesn't seem to reflect an accurate finishing order by one's peers as it would be if only the participants that finished were allowed to vote for their favorite three. Just my two cents.

Cheers,
Volt

The only thing that I would change would be to conceal the votes until the pole is closed. That way the early voting doesn't influence the outcome.

Also Volt, there is probably a way to extract the votes of the 107 participants to give a builders choice tally.

Tommy, just wondering if you are going to stick around on the site after the build-off?

You have stated on your Facebook page while asking people to join RRB and vote for your bike, that you don't fit in, the site owner hasn't commented on your build, and "I'm over it".

CONGRATULATIONS Fordsnake (Carlton) for repeating with Remix!!!!

Fordsnake your bike was a piece of art as usual, your amazingly talented and truly deserve this win!
Kingfish you really played your A++ game this year, I am truly happy for you... you have come a long way- Shake and Bake!

Shouts out to Buckchocolate, Tanksalot, MplsCoaster, Renaissance, Nickle, Smoopy, ifitsfree, Luke, Atoms, Expjawa, Huffdaddy, and ALL the others for opening up your shops and proving countless hours of entertainment and inspiration, in the end I have learned that that is what all this is about! Thank you Ratrod for creating this venue.

Thanks everyone for the votes- This is my last build off for at least a year or two (I need to concentrate on the 10+ bikes in my garage for a while). Congratulations to all the people that entered this year! All of the bikes are just amazing!

Thanks for the props and support my friend and drafting partner (shake and bake)! I didn't think anything could beat the excitement I had last year when CCR and I battled for our position. But then this year, you, Smoopy, and I had a very wild ride!!!!!!

You have hands down been the most consistent overall top builder for the past three build offs. BO6=3rd, BO7=4th, BO8=3rd. No one else holds a candle to that body of work!!!!! The only thing that comes close to your builds is the professionalism and support you show in your comments on the forum. Well done my friend!!!!

Congratulations to all of the builders!!! New and Old! Traditional and Anything Goes! Finished and Unfinished! It has been an honor to build along side of you the past three months. We had a blast, didn't we????!!!!!
Now, we rest and ride our trophies!!!!

As a rookie, I have to say this has been a great time participating in the build-off.
Thank you to all of you who had kind things to say not just to me, but to everyone on this site. It's nice to be in the company of people who can encourage others while at the same time compete against them! That's the way God set things up and it's good to see it in real time!

Now, can I have my life back?

Would like to thank RatRodBikes for a second year of build off fun. This web site and the regular participants have helped me over and over again with compliments and ideas and I have used the "How To" section countless times for advice. Unfortunately there is always some drama but in the end this site and those that make it work have created a place for those of us that think outside the very crowded box.
Thank You...see you at the next build off

With the personal drama I've been dealing with lately...I was fortunate to find solace here in the evening and keep an eye on the tally of votes. Honestly I’m surprised with the results; because there was so many exceptional builds this year, plus a few contenders I thought surpassed Remix...but I’m grateful and blessed for everyone who voted for my build, thanks so much!!! And congratulations to all of the builders, you're all winners!!!

Carlton

Congratulations everybody! Especially the top three heavy hitters. Lots of talent there.

It was a fun year. I hope I have the patience and motivation to enter again last year. It is worth it in the long run.

But what am I going to do with all these bikes I keep building because of this forum??

Many thanks to those that voted for my bike. I really appreciate it. You helped me place 50% better than last year.

cheers
